A penny for Piece #3 is a durational work for one performer. The performer sits on a white rectangular cloth with five mason jars set up In front of them, each painted with a respective country flag. The performance began in the Hammer Museum courtyard. The artist was soon asked to leave by security because of complaints from Museum goers that the artist had “too many flags represented.” The artist then continued the experiment on the sidewalk in front of the Hammer Museum..
